🚀 The Poconos Association of Vacation Rental Owners (www.PoconosVRO.org) is proud to launch the Good Neighbor Program, aimed at enhancing the reputation of the short-term rental (STR) industry and demonstrating our commitment to being responsible community members. By taking the Good Neighbor Pledge, STR owners commit to a set of best practices that benefit the community, support business success, and create exceptional guest experiences.

🏡 Poconos VRO Good Neighbors pledge to: 

✔️ Obtain all required township, county, and community association permits and licenses. 

✔️ Adhere to all STR-related laws and regulations. 

✔️ Follow the rules and guidelines of their community associations. 

✔️ Maintain clean, safe, and guest-ready properties. 

✔️ Vet guests and communicate community guidelines for preserving quality of life. 

✔️ Commit to best practices in responsible hosting and stewardship. 

✔️ Support the principles set forth by Poconos VRO.

🌟 We envision this program becoming a symbol of quality and pride across the vacation rental industry. As the logo gains recognition, it will stand for integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to the communities we serve.

Members participating in the program receive perks such as window decals, refrigerator magnets, and digital icons for their welcome guides and listings. Participating properties will also be featured in the Poconos Vacation Rental Directory (http://www.PoconosVRO.com) with links to their rental listings.

For members with multiple properties, a $10/month/property fee supports Poconos VRO’s ongoing marketing and promotion efforts.
