This event is organized in coordination with Poconos VRO and is a great opportunity for our members to gain valuable insights and guidance directly from our local law enforcement.

   • Tips and strategies to manage guests causing disturbances or not adhering to property rules.

2. How Do We Use and Enforce the Innkeeper's Rights Act of 1996?

   • Understanding the grounds upon which innkeepers may deny accommodations, facilities, or privileges of a lodging establishment to certain individuals, and the rights and responsibilities it entails.

3. How and When to Properly Engage with PMRPD?

   • Understanding the appropriate situations and procedures for contacting the police.

4. Problem STR Properties Who Consistently Break the Rules and Laws

   • Discussion on handling properties that consistently cause issues in the community and how to get them compliant or shut down.

5. 3 Strikes You're Out

   • Clarification on whether this is based on court convictions, not complaints.
   • Discussion on whether this applies to the owner and all their properties or just one property.
   • Guidance on how to achieve convictions.

6. Suggestions for Better Hosting to Owners

   • Practical advice and best practices for property owners to improve their hosting experience and compliance.

7. Questions and Answers

   • This is a valuable opportunity to interact directly with Chief Wagner and get answers to your most pressing questions.
